This page explains how to measure yourself to ensure Auntie Annie makes your new clothes just the right size for you.
Please ensure you do this carefully to make sure you have the correct measurements!
To measure your chest width measure the points shown by arrow A. Measure all round your body at the widest point. (Generally across the nipples). If you would like room for falsies, then please measure yourself with them on.
For your waist measurement, measure as shown by arrow B. This should normally be in the same place as the waist belt on your trousers.
To measure for arrow C measure from the armpit down to the waistline. Make sure you stop the waistline measurement at the same point as you measured you waist.
For skirt length, measure from your waist down to the length you want the skirt to finish, as shown with arrow D If you intend wearing a petticoat underneath then make sure you allow for the extra length the petticoat will need. An alternative is to measure the petticoat from top hem to bottom hem then allow an inch for the dress to drop below the petticoat.
Arm length is measured as shown with arrow E measure from your armpit to your wrist with your arm straight and outstretched as the length will be longer when your arm is up.
